Louise is an Associate Professor at Victoria University of Wellington where she is the Director of the Forensic Programme, a New Zealand Registered Psychologist and a UK Registered Forensic Psychologist. Louise enjoys an active international research profile that broadly contributes to the prevention of interpersonal aggression and violence. She is currently leading and co-leading funded research projects that aim to understand the journeys of male survivors of sexual violence and abuse in Aotearoa New Zealand. Louise’s research has influenced practice and policy in correctional settings, policing, psychological, health, offender management and political areas
